This five star hotel project is situated on the historic corniche of Beirut. to attenuate the impact of the built up area, doubled in accordance to a special law concerning tourist buildings, the lower floors have a winding structural double height glazing that allows a see through view to the hotel back gardens. while the middle floors balconies have a linear treatment to accentuate the horizontality of the structure, the upper floors are stepped on one side leaving space for large suspended gardens. the roof restaurant has a wavy glazed roof giving the effect of a cruise liner ready to leave the shore.
